I'm Super Sore from Working Out, What Should I Do?
68So, you've been working out hard? Good work. You've been really pushing it and trying new workouts? Kudos to you. But you're so dang sore all the time. You feel run down, your muscles are achy and stiff. Here's my four biggest tips to help fix this issue. Let's go over them from easiest to do to the hardest. One, stretch!!! People don't stretch enough (me included) but do as I say and not as I do. Yeah, it's boring and sometimes a little uncomfortable to painful but you feel so much better after.
Two, water!!! Drink more water. 90% of Americans suffer from chronic dehydration. Are you one of them? I drink close to a gallon of water a day. I really like coconut water too.
Three, supplements and diet. Eating the rights foods or taking some vitamins and minerals can really help speed up that work out recovery. My favorite is Country Life's Calcium Magnesium and Potassium pills. You can eat foods with lots of these vitamins and minerals in them too. Such as green leafy vegetables and fruits. I like bananas and potatoes to help my muscles feel better.
Last and my favorite, massage. Massage therapy can do wonders for your beat up muscles. I know it does for mine for sure. Pushing out all those knots and bringing blood to problem areas can do wonders on your stiff, sore body.
