Working Out Doesn't Necessarily Mean Dedicating One Hour to the Gym

So you've only got 15-30 minutes to work out a day? So what. Look, we all get busy. And we all get lazy from time to time. But at the same time I am sick and tired of hearing the excuse, "I don't have enough time to work out." And believe me, I am a personal trainer and own my own gym, so I hear it pretty often. You are pretty much saying that you don't want to work out and you are not that dedicated. I don't care if it is only 2 minutes here and there at push ups or a minute of sit ups, my point is to do something. You don't have to reserve an hour out of your day. It does not have to be a great ordeal. You don't have to go get a membership at the trendiest gym in town. You do not even have to leave your house! My whole point here is that something is better than nothing. Not doing anything physical for a few days, turns into a month really quickly and all of a sudden you are saying, "oh my god, I have not been to the gym or worked out in over a year!" Then God forbid the next thing you know, you're 500 pounds and they are cutting out the side of your house to get you out. I am just kidding, but seriously, you get my point right? You have to stay on top of this exercise thing. The longer you go without doing anything, the harder it's going to be to get back into it. I hear this phrase every single week, "how did I let myself get this out of shape?" Well, if you would have been doing at least a few minutes everyday of some sort of physical activity, such as walking, push ups, planking, sit ups, running, jumping jacks, or lunging. Notice all these I just mentioned can be done in the comfort of your home or around your neighborhood. So, do yourself a favor and don't wait so long in between workouts. Now, get down and give me 20.

To continue this thought, have you ever seen 80 year old people? This is in no way shape or form to disrespect or form, but they usually have terrible posture due to not touching a weight of challenging themselves for years.  So, don't let this be you, stay on top of it, and challenge yourself daily.
